(August 13, 2023) I visited the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum thanks to a silent auction win a few months back with Read to Me International's "Feed Me a Story" benefit dinner. I enjoy visiting the grounds and was there for Polyfest 2023. I'll share some photos in another posting.
These are a few from the first room or Hall that I visited. The Kahili Room has beautiful and well-kept kahili on display. Remarkable craftsmanship, incredible details. While I've been here at least a dozen times, each visit reveals another story that I might have missed or have an "A-ha" moment while viewing an object or exhibit.
